I'm working on painting miniatures for my D&D group's players. So far I've finished two, and I'm happy with how they came out. I'll post the rest as they are completed.

The first is Aurora, a razorclaw shifter druid, played by my wife.

The second is Talia Tipsendale, a gnome artificer that fills the role of the "extra character" for nights we don't have enough players, though she's been getting lots of play time lately.

Those are lookin' pretty decent... the lighting used for the photos hides the shading just a little bit, but the paint jobs look great.

I know, I'm trying to figure out how to take decent pictures with my camera. I built a lightbox for the pictures, but the pics are too dark without the camera flash, and the white walls are too bright with it on. The green felt helps absorb some of that "extra" light, but it's still a little too bright. I guess I'll just have to experiment some more.

These do look better in person. I'll try and remember to pack my digital SLR camera with me this weekend and snap a few for you.

And do I need to provide the orc heads for Ragnars belt or do you have those covered?

Yeah, taking snaps of minis can be a pain... I haven't even tried with mine.

I should mention that Ragnar's got a bionic arm in his trophy rack now too. Ripped it off the cleric we were hunting down. (Who, by the way, wasn't a cleric at all, but an artificer dabbling in human artificy ala Dr. Frankenstein or the Boys from Brazil) This happened after the party got spanked by a chimera he had made from various animals. Apparently the cleric/artificer had an artificial arm, similar to a warforged's.
